ROUTE 66 CRUISIN’ REUNION® UNVEILS EVENT ROUTE

Thousands of Classic Cars and Fans will Line Historic Euclid Avenue September 20-22

ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA – (August 22, 2013) – Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion® officials are pleased to announce today the cruise route details for the September 20th -22nd event. The inaugural event will include two convenient entry points to accommodate the several thousand participants and their classic cars and also a number of options for the tens of thousands of attendees that will descend upon historic Euclid Avenue for this three day rally.

The Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion, free to the public, will feature three days of classic cars, cruising, contests, live entertainment, fabulous food and revelry to make it one of the nation’s most extended, long-play events of its kind. Vintage autos and car hobbyists will line Ontario’s tree-shaded Euclid Avenue

The organizers have designed the cruise route to keep the classic cars flowing smoothly all weekend offering the vehicles two locations to enter the cruise route; cruisers traveling north can enter along Holt Boulevard and Lemon Street. Additionally, participants driving from the south can enter at Euclid Avenue and “I” Street. For those attendees and spectators looking to park close to the action and catch a piece of the nostalgic parade of the vintage cruise, there will be plenty of parking outside of the official cruisin’ boundaries.

“Many classic car enthusiasts from around the country have been clamoring for more details on the Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion and we are excited to announce today the route for what we know will become one of the West Coast’s premier Vintage Metal Roadshows,” stated Michael Krouse, president of the nonprofit Route 66 Reunion and President & CEO of the Greater Ontario Convention and Visitors Bureau. “The Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion will bring together the Inland Empire’s rich history of car shows in one of the historic areas of the City of Ontario, Euclid Avenue.
